If you've never been to Calla & Wren before, plan to arrive about fifteen minutes early. We'll have you fill out a short intake form covering any injuries, allergies, or areas you'd rather we avoid, and your therapist will go over it with you before your treatment starts so nothing gets missed.
During the treatment itself, communication matters more than most first-timers expect. Pressure that feels perfect for one person can feel like too much or too little for another, and our therapists genuinely want you to speak up mid-session rather than white-knuckle through discomfort or waste a treatment that's too light.
Afterward, take a few extra minutes in the relaxation lounge before you rush back into your day — we keep water and tea out for exactly this reason. Most people underestimate how much a slow transition out of a treatment affects how long the benefits actually last.

Wish I had read this before my first visit, I felt weird about saying the pressure was too light and just sat through it.

The relaxation lounge tip is underrated. I used to bolt straight to my car afterward and always regretted it.
