One of the most common questions we get at the front desk is simply: which facial should I book? The honest answer is that it depends less on what's trending and more on what your skin is actually doing right now, which is why we always start with a quick skin read before recommending anything.
If your skin runs dry or sensitive, look for a facial built around gentle exfoliation and barrier-repair ingredients rather than anything with strong acids or heat. Combination and oily skin usually responds better to clay-based treatments that manage shine without stripping moisture, while mature skin tends to benefit most from massage-forward facials that support circulation alongside any active ingredients.
The biggest mistake we see is booking the most intense option available on a first visit. Give us fifteen minutes with your skin before you commit to anything — we'd rather build up to a stronger treatment over two or three sessions than have you leave red and irritated after the first one.

Never thought about matching the facial to what my skin is doing that week instead of just picking the fanciest-sounding one. Makes total sense.

Booked the gentle option after reading this instead of the deep-clean one I originally wanted. Glad I did, my skin was pretty reactive that week.
